Jaguar

1922 was the year the world was struck by lightning...lightning speed, that is. A car whose prestige and fame was well earned. Performance like no other. A reputation that wrote itself. It was the power, speed and agility of its feline muse that would inspire a metamorphosis within the automotive industry. A car that would go on to shape an entire generation? The quintessential British marque, Jaguar evolved from founders William Lyons and William Walmsley's fascination with the speed and flexibility of the common motorcycle. Driven by the desire to manipulate these characteristics with the added power and stability of an automobile build, the first Jaguar was a 2 ½ -litre sports saloon. From its earliest model, the Jaguar signature underwent several evolutions and so did its directorship. Having changed hands a number of times over the course of its early stages and later establishment, the brand was acquired by Tata Motors in 2008, along with the equally prestigious Land-Rover brand. This led to the merger of both marques and on the 18th of January, 2008 a new legacy, Jaguar Land Rover, was born. With a niche in the Jamaican market for vehicles that possessed this calibre of luxury and performance, Stewart's Automotive Group, tasked themselves with creating a licensed outlet for Jaguar Land Rover units. In 2015 the Group succeeded and acquired the dealership rights for the merged entity, thereby establishing Stewart Auto Gallery and adding another premium luxury marque to their portfolio. Despite experiencing a number of changes over its lifespan, the brand has emerged today as the perfect embodiment of innovation, grace and technological prowess. Our designers and engineers at Jaguar have created builds that make you stop and stare, responsive performance that gets your pulse racing and quality that cannot be measured, only felt. Jaguar. Born to Perform.
