MS McLeod Law opened its virtual doors in 2020 in the midst of a global pandemic. While this period would for many be one of caution, Melissa S McLeod saw opportunity and decided to start her own legal practice MS McLeod Law. Admitted to practice in 2012, Melissa S McLeod, worked for 8 years in one of Jamaica's leading firms in the area of complex commercial litigation, and has gained experience in civil litigation having appeared in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the Privy Council. She first appeared before the Board of the Privy Council when she was just 2 years and 1 month at the Bar. Melissa S McLeod has taken to MS McLeod Law all her experience and continues to practice in various areas including Telecommunications, Restraint of Trade/Employment Law, Breach of Contract, Insolvency, Minority Shareholder/Directors issues, Company Law, Restrictive Covenants and Easements, Commercial Leases, Constitutional Law, Judicial Review and Banking Law. MS McLeod Law is built on a passion for assisting businesses (especially small businesses) and other organizations in need through providing legal services including litigation services and alternative dispute resolution. Since its inception in 2020, MS McLeod Law has also expanded beyond a solo virtual practice to include a physical office space, a new associate and support staff, ready to serve your legal needs.
