In the early 1990s, a young Jamaican man known for fixing radios and television units along with his family, decided to use simple satellite antennas, surplus equipment and coaxial cable to create one of Jamaica's first cable television systems and revolutionised the way Jamaicans watched TV. More than 20 years later, Stars Cable Co Ltd (SCCL) has the third largest fibre network serving St. Ann, St. Mary and St. Catherine. We also own and manage advanced, well-clustered cable hubs throughout the parishes we serve.
